What does the filter in the Access Filter Straw remove?
The natural carbon filter has been specially designed to remove harmful particulates and contaminants including chlorine, chloramine, iron, manganese and zinc and deliver water with higher alkalinity and pH, and higher concentrations of electrolytes necessary for complete hydration such as magnesium, potassium and calcium.
How do I clean my Access Filter Straw?
Remove the filter and disassemble the straw prior to handwashing in warm soapy water. When dry, re-assemble and fit into your favourite water bottle.
When do I replace the filter?
Each filter lasts for one month with average use (2 - 3 litres per day) after which they should be replacedFilters are available in a 2-pack.
Can I use the Access Filter Straw with other drinks?
No. The straw is designed to only filter water that has been municipally treated. Simply fill your bottle from the tap, replace the lid and enjoy crystal clear water.
What if my favourite bottle or cup is not on the list?
We are continually extending the range of bottles and cups that the Access Filter Straw can be used with. Keep an eye on the list or get in touch with us and ask when we will have a straw just for you.
